Effect of Scanning Strategies on Anisotropy of YCF104 Alloy Mechanical Properties by Laser Cladding

YCF104 alloy specimens were fabricated by laser cladding on #45 steel following three different scanning strategies. The microstructure, phase composition, friction coefficient, microhardness, tensile strength, and compressive strength of the formed strategies investigated. results show that uniformity remelting solidified layers improved microstructure refined grains. strengthening effect Fe–Cr/Mo solid solution was primarily responsible for high strength. exhibit brittle failure, with change metallurgical bonding form in overlap area, (the maximum value is 3235 MPa) (specimen via strategy 3 527.44 MPa), there appears significant anisotropy. With improvement temperature distribution, coefficient as well microhardness decreased when GCr15 used pair. mechanical anisotropy coating related to both area.
